Christchurch Star copy prints

The Star copy print collection contains photographs that were used in the process of editing and printing the Star newspaper. Many of the prints have crop marks, and on the reverse, publication dates, and newspaper captions or articles.

This digitised collection contains a sample of material from the large print collection, and more digitised images will be added over time.

The original photographs are arranged in subject groups, as part of the Star's working library. The digital images are presented here in chronological groups, and range in date from the 1900s to the 1990s.
