Salt kiln at the premises of the Halswell Pottery Group

The salt kiln at premise of Pottery Group in Candys Road. The diesel-fired salt kiln, designed by notable New Zealand potter Roy Cowan, was completed in 1985. The catalyst for building it was the weekend school with Roy Cowan and Juliet Peter.
