Annami (left) and Ashleigh have been friends as part of the IHC Volunteer Friendship programme since Aug 2017. They both enjoy sun and sand and their visit to Sumner Beach was all about walking and soaking up the sunshine.

From a collection of photographs gathered from the Christchurch branch of IHC of the IHC Volunteer Friendship programme. These photographs celebrate the friendships made through the programme which connects volunteers with individuals with an intellectual disability through socialising out in the community.
