Volunteering Canterbury

Volunteering Canterbury is a for-purpose organisation founded in September 1988 by Lady Judith Hay, Mayoress of Christchurch. The organisation's vision is to see ‘people and communities connecting through volunteering’. Its mission is ‘to enable meaningful volunteer opportunities that build connections and make mahi have meaning’. The organisation supports the community sector across all of Christchurch, and the Selwyn, Hurunui, and Waimakariri districts.
