Raymond Comfort and friends
In the sandhills at the end of Jervois Street. South Brighton, Christchurch.
Contributor's note: "Raymond Comfort (left in picture), member of Midshore Boardriders, built the surfhut with his friends. Unfortunately it was later burnt down by some hooligans. Raymond later abandoned his surfing to become a preacher in the Cathedral Square and also wrote a book "My Friends Are Dying" in response to the growing drug problem after that time. He now lives in USA preaching there."
