Shop on the corner of Phillips and St Asaph Street
Woman and her son standing in front of their shop on the corner of Phillips and St Asaph Street.
Contributors note: "Corner of Philips and St Asaph St, approx 1920. Photo of my great grandmother and son. Unbeknownst to me when I purchased the property in 2001 my great grandfather (surname Stevens) had built the building as well as three of four surrounding building. I found this out out after a family member did a family search tree in the mid 2000s. He built a hotel but his wife disagreed, and after a heated discussion it turned into a corner shop. It stands today as a takeaway shop. I owned this building for 16 years."
