Oxford Terrace Baptist Church roll of honour
The honour roll formerly in the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church, lists 17 names of servicemen from the First World War.
Two more names, not on the board, are listed in the Diamond jubilee souvenir, 1871-1931, p. 20: "Our Men Who Fell" which includes where they died.
The fine neoclassical Baptist church at 288 Oxford Terrace overlooking the Avon River, was badly damaged and subsequently demolished following the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes. Fortunately the honours board was retrieved.
